The Lady Red Storm basketball team won its last game of the season Saturday over conference leader Hawaii-Pacific University 99-80 on senior day at the Burns arena. Dixie State College seniors Tanya Clark, Jesse Ingraham, and Megan Tidwell ended their collegiate careers in victory. The three seniors were pivotal in the most successful season of the Red Storm's history. The win raised the Red Storm's conference record to 13-3 (17-8 overall). It is the best record the team has had since making the move from junior college to NCAA Division II.

Leading the Red Storm to victory was senior captain Tanya Clark. The outgoing senior led the team with 18 points and 12 rebounds. Co-captain Jesse Ingraham played her usual stellar way with 17 points including 3-4 from behind the arc.

Head coach Angela Kristensen honored the three seniors in a pre-game recognition moment with pictures and memento jerseys. The crowd at Burns arena gave the players a standing ovation.

The Red Storm finished in third place in the PacWest Conference and fell short of qualifying for postseason action.
