The Lady Red Storm overwhelmed the visiting Vulcans of Hawaii Hilo Thursday night 99-56, which included an amazing triple-double performance by a Red Storm freshman.

Red Storm's Deanna Daniels filled up a stat sheet that is rare at any level of basketball. Daniels, an general education major from Las Vegas Nev., produced 10 points, 10 rebounds and had 12 steals.

The Storm controlled the game from the start and held a lopsided 42-24 halftime lead over the Vulcans. They continued their dominance in the second half by putting the first 12 points on the board and ultimately outscoring their opponents 57-32 in the closing half.

Senior forward Tanya Clark, a business administration major from Beaumont, Calif., led the team in scoring with 17 points. Dixie State College's other super freshmen forward Johnna Brown, got close to a triple-double herself by recording 16 points, seven rebounds and seven assists.

The Red Storm are now 12-3 in PacWest play. They meet the Sea Warriors of Hawaii Pacific Saturday at 1 p.m. in the Burns arena for the last regular season game.
