The Dixie State College men's basketball team blasted the University of Hawaii-Hilo 88-73 Tuesday night at Burns Arena.
Senior forward Griffon Jones scored 16 points, and the Red Storm never trailed en route to the 15-point victory. Junior forward Derek Owen contributed 11 points and seven rebounds off the bench. The Red Storm finish their four-game home stand with a perfect 4-0 record.
The Red Storm now leave the comfy confines of Burns Arena and fly to Hawaii to play four games in eight days starting with a grudge match with the Vulcans on Monday.
